Lady Hornet XC Team Sweeps NTL Quad Meet

Wellsboro's Girls Cross Country team scored wins over Cowanesque Valley, North Penn-Mansfield and Northeast Bradford Tuesday afternoon over in Westfield.
The Lady Hornets edged Cowanesque Valley 27-29, beat North Penn-Mansfield 22-36 and Northeast Bradford, 24-33.
Junior Lauren Kosek claimed the top spot, running 21:08. Freshman Kaci Kosek (24:07) finished 8th, senior Sophia Yoder (25:35) and sophomore Molly Tice (27:11) were 10th and 11th, sophomore Luisa Crocco (28:24) was 13th, and sophomore Anja Przybycien (30:55) finished 15th.
In the Junior High race CV beat the young Lady Hornets 17-40, North Penn-Mansfield won 24-29, and Northeast Bradford won 22-29.
Summer Boder (12:15) was 7th to lead Wellsboro while Brianna O'Shea Losinger (14:00) was 12th and Serenity Harrison (14:52) was 14th.
Lauren Kosek will take part in the Paul Short Invite at at Lehigh University on Thursday.
