Hornet XC teams compete at Big Valley

The Wellsboro Varsity boys and girls cross country teams competed in the Big Valley Invite this Saturday. The boys team finished in 1st place overall with a score of 51 points. The girls team finished 1st place overall with 56 points.

For the boys team, Senior Jordan Jackson was first overall in 16:47, Senior Bobby Hill took 6th in 18:33, Junior Joey Doganiero finished 8th in 18:48, Freshman Dakota Cleveland was 15th in 19:56 and Senior Derek Morgan was 26th in 21:08.

For the girls team, Senior Randi Grim was 6th in 22:57, Freshman Hannah Hood finished 8th in 23:25, Junior Charlotte Worthington was 9th in 23:27, Freshman Jada Jackson finished 11th in 23:51 and Freshman Jordyn Coffee was 17th in 25:03.

Both teams will be back in action on Wednesday, September 5 as they travel to Wyalusing for the Lasagna Invite.
