Five new members will be inducted into the Wellsboro Sports Hall of Fame's Class of 2025. This year's class is made up of Deb Bilder, Dailyn Cooney, Carrie Gorda, Chris Morral, and Todd Crumb.
Bilder (cross country), one of Wellsboro's first female all-state selections, is one of Wellsboro's premier girls' distance runners of all-time in just two short years. In 1988-89 as a junior she took third place in the PIAA 2A Girls XC Championships (19:00). Her senior year she improved her time by 38 seconds to finish 2nd in the state (18:21.57). As a member of the track team, Bilder helped the Lady Hornets win both NTL and District IV championships in 1989 and another NTL title in 1990. In her very first meet as a junior she set the school's 1600m (5:17.9) and 3200m (11:21.9) records. Later in the season she broke the school's 800m record (2:30.7) and the 4x800m relay record (10:25.1). While three of those records have been surpassed, she still holds the 1600m record to this day. When her junior season finished, she was third in scoring with 173.75 points, just behind captains Elizabeth (Nicodemus) Hoover (HOF Class of 2024) and Tavia Gerges. In her two seasons on the track team Bilder also won three state medals (4th place in the 1600m and 3rd place in the 3200m in 1989 and 5th place in the 3200m in 1990). After high school, Bilder attended Wake Forest and ran cross country.

As a member of the track team, Cooney was a multiple District IV and PIAA medal winner. At the district level she was a three-time 300m hurdles champion (2004, 2005 & 2006) and set the District IV record in the event in 2005 (45.32). In 2005 she was also 4th in the high jump (4-ft, 11), and 2nd in both the 4x100m relay (50.68) and 4x400m relay (4:06.03). In her senior year she also took 5th in the high jump (4-ft, 11), 2nd in the long jump (16-ft, 10.5), and 5th in the 4x100m relay (51.45). During the state championships she was a two-time silver medalist in the 300m hurdles in 2004 (45.4) and 2005 (45.63) and a 4th place finisher in 2006 (46.14). In 2005 she was also a part of the 6th place 4x100m relay team.

As captain of the 1993 volleyball team, Gorda led the Lady Hornets with 225 kills (5.77 kpg), 22 blocks, and 32 digs. She also scored 64 points as the 4th member of Wellsboro's serving rotation. As a member of the Lady Hornet basketball team she finished her career with 1,307 points, fourth overall in school history. After high school Gorda attended Westminster College to play both volleyball and basketball. In her four years of volleyball Gorda led the Titans to the NAIA National Tournament her senior year, and holds their career records in blocks (869) and is 4th all-time with 1,297 career kills. She was inducted into Westminster's Hall of Fame in 2007.
Morral (football) was the 1993-94 John Antoine Prevost Male Athlete of the Year. He was a four-year starter as a member of the football team, where he was a back-to-back 1,000-yard rusher in his junior and senior years and started a run of six consecutive years of the Hornets
producing a 1,000-yard running back. In his senior year he was an NTL All-Star and MVP of the District IV All-Star game. He was a three-year starter on the basketball team, and a two-year starter on the baseball team, where he led the NTL in home runs his junior year. Crumb (contributor) is the epitome of a Wellsboro fan: he shows up to every game, no matter if its sub-zero or scorching hot temperatures, Todd is also there cheering on Wellsboro's student-athletes. Todd's dedication to Wellsboro's athletic programs earned him the "District IV Super Fan Pass" last summer.
