Senior Lauren Kosek won her 3rd straight NTL Coaches Invite Saturday morning at Northeast Bradford.

Kosek ran a time of 19:01 and crossed the finish line 29 seconds ahead of Towanda's Maris Cobb in 2nd place.

Towanda swept the day, winning both the girls meet (51 places) and the boys meet (44 places).

The Lady Hornets didn't have enough runners to generate a team score. The Varsity Boys team finished 9th overall with 214 places.

"The kids ran great, there were several PR's," head coach Eric Kosek said. "The team as a whole has progressed two-fold from where they started this summer. Its really fun to watch certain athletes start to 'get it.' Everyone is excited to head to Bloomsburg for the district meet."
