Troy Girls XC Edges Lady Hornets, Kosek Takes Top Spot

Senior Lauren Kosek crossed the finish line first against Troy on Tuesday afternoon, however the Lady Trojans narrowly defeated the Lady Hornets, 26-29.

Kosek ran a 21:56. Junior Molly Tice (29:40) was 5th, junior Luisa Crocco (30:07) was 6th, junior Anja Przybycien (31:01) took 8th and freshman Brianna O'Shea Losinger (31:02) was 9th.

Troy also won the Junior High race by the same score. Kendall DeShazo placed 1st in 12:32 followed by Amelia Pollaro (12:50) in 3rd. Serenity Harrison (13:57) was 6th, Trinity Angus (15:20) took 9th, and Avral DeShazo (15:26) was 10th.

The Varsity team will be back in action Thursday at the Paul Short Invite at Lehigh University, then both teams are at the NTL Coaches Invite at Northeast Bradford on October 17.
